Ian Kennedy
Before becoming a lawyer, Ian Kennedy worked in social work, community work and adult education in both the statutory and voluntary charitable sectors. He is a sociologist by training, and he has a post-graduate qualification in community work. Since becoming a lawyer, Ian has specialised in employment law and, during that time, he has also found the time to head up the human resources department of a large commercial enterprise. Ian enjoys a solid reputation for his work before the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, where he appears regularly. He has also held a number of external consultancies in a variety of fields, including the arts, community care and housing. Ian is a former Vice-President of The Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland and in addition to his administrative responsibilities there he sat regularly in a judicial capacity.

Stan Moffat
Stan's first appearance in an Employment Tribunal was in 1985 and he has successfully represented both employers and employees in many cases over the years.
Stan is a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Court of Session and the Supreme Court. He is also a qualified mediator, reporter to the Scottish Legal Aid Board and a part time tutor at Edinburgh University.
